WHY ME
International experience
23 years total experience, 14 of which have been across Southeast Asia and Europe. I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies, governments and technology leaders, globally. I’m sensitive to local values and culture. I currently work with a multi-lingual, multi-cultural team in Europe. I’ve worked in a similar environment in Singapore.
Stakeholder expectation management
Providing leadership in client-agency creative discussions – especially when creative issues are escalated for resolution – is a critical aspect of a creative director’s role. I have often been successful at having my influence extend to all stakeholders – internally, and more importantly, to clients.
Responsible creativity
Because I run my own business, I think like a business owner. I’m constantly looking for opportunities to grow the brands I work with, along with the business I’m working for. I have a healthy respect for the financial side of things and treat my clients’ money as it were my own. I negotiate aggressively and try to get my clients the best deal I can from vendors.
Completely hands-on
I’m a big picture thinker who still hasn’t lost his passion for craft and detail – both for copy and for art direction. I know what a pen is and I’m not shy about using it; I’m hands-on and I routinely roll up my sleeves and get down to producing billable work.
